Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of writeble.com (the "Site"), operated by Writeble ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful, non-disruptive purposes and to comply with all applicable laws. You agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site or its systems.
  • Scrape, harvest, or republish content at scale without prior written permission.
  • Use the Site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful material.

2. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including articles, headlines, images, logos, design, and code — is the property of Writeble or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may quote brief excerpts with proper attribution and a link back to the source article. Republishing or redistributing material beyond customary fair use requires our prior written permission.

3. User submissions

If you send us tips, pitches, comments, or other materials, you grant Writeble a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to review, edit, publish, and distribute such submissions in any media for editorial purposes, unless we agree otherwise in writing. You confirm that you have the right to share the material with us and that doing so does not infringe any third-party rights.

4. Advertising and sponsored content

The Site displays advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense and other partners. Sponsored content, where present, is clearly labelled and is separate from our editorial coverage. We do not endorse advertisers or the products and services they promote, and your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

5. Third-party links and content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, embedded media, and references to third-party products or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of those third parties. Inclusion does not imply endorsement.

6. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Editorial content is provided for general informational purposes only and is not professional, legal, financial, or investment advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Writeble and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Writeble harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use information.

10. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms or to comply with legal obligations.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the publisher's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
